"Let's block everything" on September 10: RATP predicts almost normal traffic on Wednesday, except on the RER B which will be "disrupted"

Two days before Wednesday, September 10 , the impact of the "Block Everything" movement is beginning to become clear, at least on public transport in the Paris region. On Monday, September 8, the RATP published its first traffic forecasts for Wednesday - with government employees having 48 hours to declare themselves on strike - which predicts a mixed situation.
For the metro, traffic is expected to be almost normal, with only a few disruptions, as is the case for buses. Trams and the RER A should operate normally. However, the situation is getting worse for the RER B. The RATP expects traffic to be "disrupted" , but has announced that it will maintain the interconnection at Gare du Nord, the nerve center of the RER B. This means that passengers will not have to change trains. Jointly managed with the SNCF, this line is usually used by nearly a million passengers per day.
The La Base union, which forms the majority of RER drivers, has called not only for a strike but also for "action in all possible forms " for Wednesday, September 10.
However, for the four majority unions of the RATP (CGT, FO, Unsa Mobilité and CFE-CGC), the mobilization will take place later, with a "day of strike and mass demonstration " planned for September 18.
At the national level, the SNCF indicated at the end of the day on Monday that the TER, RER and Transilien networks were affected but not the high-speed lines.
